Sultan al-Awliya

Mawlana Shaykh Nazim al-Haqqani

26 August 2010 Lefke, Cyprus

Yaa Rabbee! Dastoor yaa Sayyidi, madad. (Mawlana Shaykh stands)

Allah Allah, Allah Allah, Allah Allah, `Azeez Allah

Allah Allah, Allah Allah, Allah Allah, Subhaan Allah

Allah Allah, Allah Allah, Allah Allah, Rabboon Allah

Allah Allah, Allah Allah, Allah Allah, `Azeez Allah

Allah Allah, Allah Allah, Allah Allah, Subhaan Allah

Allah Allah, Allah Allah, Allah Allah, Sultaan Allah!

Allahuma salli wa sallim ‘ibaadullah wa habeebika Sayyidina Muhammadan, Sayyidi 'l-Awwaleen wa ’l-`Akhireen. Zidhu yaa Rabbee `izzan wa sharafa nooran wa surooran wa ridwaanan wa sultana. Thumma salaatu as-salaamu ‘alaykum `ala jami`il anbiya wal-awliya khaasatan Qutb az-Zamaan, Imaam az-Zamaan, Saahib az-Zamaan, Mahdi `alayhi salaam. Allahuma yaa Allah … yaa Rabbi 'l-`Alameen! (Mawlana Shaykh sits)

O our Attenders! As-salaamu `alaykum, As-salaamu ‘alaykum yaa 'ibaadAllah as-Saaliheen. Tooba, high good tidings for those among `ibaadAllah as-Saaliheen, “Righteous servants of Allah.” May Allah Jalla Jalaaluh grant us to be with His good servants! That is the last request to Allah Almighty that we shall ask from our Lord, to be with good people. Our last target, and everyone's last target, must be to be with good ones. O our Attenders! Are you thinking about that point or not? For 24 hours we are running, going, coming, working, spending our valuable lives, valuable days and hours, that keep passing away and are never coming back.

O our Attenders! As-salaamu `alaykum. Are you thinking even once throughout the 24-hour day about being a good one? Say, a`oodhu billahi min ash-Shaytaani ‘r-rajim. Shaytan is the most terrible enemy, who is never leaving you or anyone to think about their positions for even one minute, "O myself! O `AbdAllah! Are you thinking even once in 24 hours, ‘Am I trying to be a good one?'"

O Salafi `ulamas! What is your opinion; are you thinking daily even for one minute, "Am I a good one?" or are you thinking to be with good ones, or that in the Heavenly Presence is it said for you, "O My good servant!" Are you thinking about this, because they are asking everyone. We are saying, Bismillahi 'r-Rahmaani 'r-Raheem. (Mawlana Shaykh stands) O our Lord! That is our sign of servanthood, to stand up and say, "Bismillahi 'r-Rahmaani 'r-Raheem! O my Lord! I belong to You, I am working for You, I am spending all my effort for Your pleasure!" When you are alone, you may ask this point, particularly those servants who have been granted to be kings or sultans or ameers or jalaalatu 'l-malik.

O our Salafi `ulamas! Are you reminding people, even weekly? It is necessary to remind people daily, to say, "O Muslims! Are you thinking to be a good one?" That is the highest point of our good targets, or we may say, the best target for everyone: "I must be a good servant," or, "I must be a good one." How to know if you are a "good one"? Listen to what people are saying about you. Don't say about yourself, "I am a good one," no. What are people saying about you? Listen, if they are saying, "Jalaalatu, His Majesty, the King is a good king. Jalaalatu 'l-malik, among others, is the best one. He is not just a good malik, but he is the best one." For what reason are they saying this? Qul haatoo burhanakum, “Say to them, ‘Bring forth your proofs!’” that people may say His Majesty, the King, or Jalaalatu 'l-malik, is a good one. Give your proof! What good deeds did he do? Allah (swt) granted them a big chance, billions or trillions of coins or money, but what good deeds did they do? Where are their charities? Charities are showing that a person is a good one, because charities are for common people.

Allah Almighty is granting them a chance and is granting them heaps of coins, granting them millions or billion of paper money or high buildings. What are these high building for? O shaykhs, say! To be in musaabaqah, competition with others.

أن تلد الأمة ربتها، وأنت ترى الحفاة العراة العالة رعاء الشاء يتطاولون في البنيان

Yatataawaloona fi 'l-bunyaan, “will build tall buildings.” Do you know the ahadeeth?

O Salafi `ulamas! fa dhakkir, "Remind them!" Say, umaraa and mulook! That is a holy hadith of the Seal of Prophets (s), "When the Last Days are approaching, people's main talab, request, will only be to have high buildings." What are they making them for? So their names will be written as good ones! That is trouble for Mankind. For unbelievers, it may be normal to run after dunya, but for mu'mineen that is not right, to run after dunya; they must run after pleasement and pleasure, to make their Lord pleased and happy with them. That is al-ghaayah, “the final goal.” Ghaayah means the highest point that a person is asking to reach. But their highest target is to make their egos pleased and in pleasure. No one is building such Nimrod towers for Allah (swt), but they are building them to make their egos happy and proud with high buildings.

How can we say they are good ones and they are doing good things? If they are writing that huge building as a good deed, (it will only be so if) everything in that high building is made for the sake of the ummah, for the nation of Sayyidi 'l-aawwaleen wa ’l-aakhireen. If they shoud say, “We are not taking any money from that. Everything coming from it we are making a waqf, charity, for ummatee Muhammad.”(Mawlana Shaykh stands) Then the angels are praising, "Long life and glory for you, O our Lord's servant!" (Mawlana Shaykh sits)

O Salafi `ulamas! Why aren't you saying such a thing? Leave big people and short-understanding people and what they are doing. Don’t say, “You are doing bid`a, haraam, shirk!” Leave them, and run after your muluk and ameers to remind them, they have been granted from the Lord of Heavens an unlimited opportunity to do their best for His servants! Therefore, O Salafi `ulamas, don't fear (telling them the truth), but fear what Allah Almighty is saying! (Mawlana Shaykh stands)

وَاتَّقُونِ يَا أُوْلِي الأَلْبَابِ

Wa attaqoonee, yaa 'ulee al-albaab.

So fear Me, oh people of understanding! (al Baqarah, 2:197)

(Mawlana Shaykh sits) Allah Almighty is saying, “Your fear must be only of My Mightiness.” Fear Him, the Mighty!

O Salafi `ulamas! You know so many curses are raining on people. You know it! Which thing is protecting you from this rain of curses? Say, do you know or not? Only one point, one thing may prevent or shelter you from heavenly cursing rains. What is that? Say! Do you know? That is the important point and they are asking you and everyone to know how to be sheltered from heavenly cursing, here and Hereafter. There is only one word, but you are not remembering it. Ma`roof! Amar bi 'l-ma`roof, “good deeds.” Only this is protecting, nothing else! Listen to what they are saying to me!

O Christians! O Jewish people! O Muslim nations! Here and Hereafter, if you are asking protection the only protection or shield for you is `amar bi 'l-ma`roof; good deeds sends everything away from you that brings punishment. It makes you a person who can taste from countless pleasures, countless ni`mah, heavenly favors that reach you. There is no other shelter except this shield, which protects servants from heavenly revenge!. Amar bi 'l-ma`roof, say it,`ulamas! Say, Azhar ash-Shareef shaykhs and doctors of Shari`ah! Say this point; it alone is enough. If you are saying this to all nations, it is making this life like a paradise, but you are not saying! Say, "O people, try to do as much as possible of goodness, ma`roof, charities. And it is a holy month. Do it!"

O Rich and Powerful Ones! Give more and more, and prevent yourselves from heavenly revenge, because one day you are going to be alone under the Earth and nothing can help you then, either here or Hereafter, except your charities! Therefore, we began by saying, are you thinking daily, "Am I a good one?" If so, then ask yourself, "Bring proof that you are a good one. What good thing did you do that you are claiming to be good?” Perhaps you are only asking your ego's pleasure, but you are not asking for the pleasure of common people. How many people today did you make happy? Why are you saying, “I am a good one," and you are making heaps of gold and billions of paper money. For what? For saving them. And on the Day of Resurrection, how many people will be a witness against you, saying, "This person collected and saved only for himself, and did not use it for others or even for himself! O our Lord! Take our revenge from him!" And those coins, as mentioned in holy ahadeeth, will be like coins of fire coming on their bodies!

Allah! Yaa Rabbee! Tawbah yaa Rabbee! Tawbah, astaghfirullah! Tawbah yaa Rabbee, tawbah yaa Rabbee, tawbah yaa Rabbee! O our Lord! You are ordering, but we are not hearing. So many chances are coming in front of us and we are losing them.

O our Attenders! From common people and from high-level people, may Allah forgive us for the honor of the Seal of Prophets, Sayyidina Muhammad (s)! (Mawlana Shaykh stands and sits)

Fatihah.
