Urs of Sultan al-Awliya Mawlana Shaykh Nazim in UK

Mawlana Shaykh Hisham Kabbani

26 April 2015 Feltham, England, UK

Suhbah at CSCA on the Occasion of Mawlana Shaykh Nazim’s Urs

and Ziyara to the Holy Relics (s) for Laylat al-Raghaib

Prophet (s) said, “My life and my death are good for you.” Let us remember the Prophet (s) by reciting once from the heart of the Holy Qur'an, Surat al-Yaseen. First we recite, “Ash-hadu an laa ilaaha illa-Llah wa ash-hadu anna Muhammadan `abduhu wa rasooluh (three times).” [Khatm al-Khwajagan.]

Salaam `alaykum wa rahmatullaahi wa barakaatuh. Alhamdulillahi Rabbi 'l-`Alameen, wa ’s-salaatu wa ’s-salaamu `alaa ashrafi 'l-mursaleena Sayyidina wa Nabiyyina Muhammadin wa `alaa aalihi wa sahbihi ajma`een. [Jeevay, jeevay, murshid jeevay!]

Inshaa-Allah after Maghrib will be the first time that we will be able to see the Prophet's Na`al ash-Shareef, but since you are so many, like 10,000 here, that holy Na`al ash-Shareef is always protected by Jinn, wherever it goes, Jinn go with it for protection because they don’t like disrespect. Wherever it goes angels will go and Allah makes them descend to make ziyara and they make tasbeeh and Allah will write their tasbeeh for the visitors, and not only that: when you focus your vision on the Na`al ash-Shareef, you receive angelic holy power from Allah (swt). And it was protected, we don’t say where and when, but it was protected and then it was given to us and inshaa-Allah you will see that. [When we were planning this event] I debated whether to bring the Na`al ash-Shareef, then I received a message from Mawlana Shaykh Nazim (q), “Don’t deprive them of that.” So we brought it and we also brought the Holy Hair of Sayyidina `Ali (r) that they put in a very rare ring.

When they fought against the enemies, they put these Holy Hairs to protect them. Sayyidina Khalid bin Waleed (r) did not die from a sword, he died on his bed, although he had 101 wounds of the swords of unbelievers that stabbed him in wars, and nothing happened to him because he was carrying the Holy Hair of the Prophet (s) that he received from Umm Salamah (r), wife of the Prophet (s), which he put either in his sleeves or, in some narrations, in his turban. So he only fought carrying the Holy Hairs. Similarly, they put the Holy Hair of Sayyidina `Ali (r) and, like the Holy Hair of Sayyidina Muhammad (s), we must have high respect and not everyone can keep that respect, but they kept the Holy Hair of Sayyidina `Ali (r), Asadullah al-Ghaalib in a ring.

Any relics of Ahul ‘l-Bayt, the Blessed Family of the Prophet (s) are valuable to view as they are giving from the secret knowledge of `Uloom al-Awwaleen wa ‘l-Akhireen, reflected to the people viewing them. Look at the Holy Hairs and keep respect, although so many people are here [but be patient and orderly]. I have three of these tabarruk and I brought one for us here tonight. And now there is an important announcement from my son, Nour.

Shaykh Nour Kabbani:

I was asked to announce the following: there was a worldwide drive to do salawaat on the Prophet (s) and present it to the holy soul of Mawlana Shaykh Nazim (q). According to the number here, 100 million salawaat shareef were tallied [@salawaat.webflow.com] and another 500,000 salawaat was presented just now from Naqshbandiyya Nazimiyya UK, from Bury in northern UK. That is how much Mawlana Shaykh is loved around the world. So I ask Mawlana Shaykh Hisham to give this to his blessed soul, but let me recite the ihdaa.

Mawlana Shaykh Hisham:

We are presenting 100 million salawaat as gift to the Prophet (s), to 124,000 Awliyaullah, to 124,000 Prophets, to unlimited numbers of numbers of angels that Allah is creating and creating, multiplying, and inshaa-Allah for every salawaat Allah sends ten salawaat and His salawaat are not like our salawaat, ours are a toy in comparison. Allah opens secrets and treasures to the Prophet (s), so 100 million multiplied by ten becomes one billion, as the Hadith states:

ما من أحد يسلم عليَّ إلا رد الله عليَّ روحي حتى أسلم عليه

Maa min ahadin yusallim `alayya illaa radd-Allaha `alayya roohee hatta usallim `alayh.

No one prays on me, except that Allah will send back my soul to me to return his greeting. (Abu Dawud)

And so we gift one billion salawat to them and we also bestow one billion on everyone who did even one salawaat, and for those who forgot to do even one we say the same!

Prophet (s) said, laa raahata fi 'd-deen, “There is no relaxation in [matters of] religion,” which means, there is no…it means you pray, even [if it is so crowded that the prayer rank behind you] prays on your back, it is also accepted. So those who did not find a place [to make sajda] can push the others without anger. I used to, I remember making Hajj with Mawlana Shaykh Nazim (q) and we sat in the Rawdah waiting for Jum`ah, in lines, and for sure someone will come and sit in the middle between the lines, so [how can you make sajda?]…in your back….So you have to pull your chair, your feet. So wherever it is, that is your seat, and inshaa-Allah we will proceed with the recitation of Surat Yaseen for Mawlana Shaykh Nazim (q).

When Grandshaykh `AbdAllah (q) was ill, we never thought that he will pass away and anyone that said he wa sick, or that he is going to pass away, we were young and we used to fight with them. And similarly, we never thought that Mawlana Shaykh Nazim (q) will leave us. When they told Sayyidina `Umar (r) that Prophet (s) died, he said, giving an oath, “W ’Allahi! Prophet did not die and if anyone says he is dead, I will cut his neck!” He meant, in the traditional tafseer, ta’weel, when Sayyidina `Umar (r) said that, it means, “Do not ever dare to say that Prophet (s) is dead. He is alive in dunya and Akhirah!” That’s what he meant, but they did not understand him.

Our shaykh, Shaykh Muhammad Nazim al-Haqqani (q), Khalifah of Grandshaykh `AbdAllah al-Fa’iz al-Daghistani (q) left dunya, but they are bal ahyaa’un `inda rabbihim yurzaqoon:

وَلاَ تَحْسَبَنَّ الَّذِينَ قُتِلُواْ فِي سَبِيلِ اللّهِ أَمْوَاتًا بَلْ أَحْيَاء عِندَ رَبِّهِمْ يُرْزَقُونَ

And never think of those who have been killed in the cause of Allah as dead. Rather, they are alive, finding their sustenance in the presence of their Lord. (Surat Aali `Imraan, 3-169)

They are alive in the Divine Presence, provided, Allah is providing for them. Yurzaqoon what? He is not providing them food, they don’t need food… He is providing them from His Endless Treasures of heavenly knowledge that no one knows, Allah opens on them. Prophet (s) said, “My life and my death are good for you,” both sides:

قال رسول الله ص حياتي خير لكم تحدثون ويحدث لكم ومماتي خير لكم تعرض علي أعمال لكم فإن وجدت خيراً حمدت الله وما وجدت غير ذلك استغفرت لكم.

My life is a great good for you: you relate from it and narrations are related to you. And my death contains good for you as well, for I observe the `amal of my Ummah. If I find good I thank Allah, and if I see other than that, bad, I ask forgiveness for you. (al-Bazzaar in his Musnad)

Let us remember Prophet (s) by reciting one surah of the Holy Qur’an, which is the heart of the Holy Qur’an, Surat al-Yaseen.
