[Suhbah starts @ 4:00.]

A`oodhu billahi min ash-Shaytani ‘r-rajeem. Bismillahi 'r-Rahmani 'r-Raheem.

Nawaytu 'l-arba`een, nawaytu 'l-`itikaaf, nawaytu 'l-khalwah, nawaytu 'l-`uzlah, nawaytu 'r-riyaada, nawaytu 's-salook, lillahi ta'ala al-`Azheem fee hadha 'l-maqaam Sayyidina Ahmad al-Faruqi al-Sirhindi, Mujaddid al-Alf al-Thaani. Madad yaa Sayyidi! Madad, madad yaa Habeeb Allah, madad!

Thousands of peace and blessings upon you, yaa Sayyidi, yaa Rasoolullah! Thousands of peace and blessings upon you, yaa Sayyidi, yaa Rasoolullah! Thousands of peace and blessings upon you, O Beloved of Allah! Thousands of peace and blessings upon you, O First of Allah’s Creation and Seal of the Prophets! Thousands of peace and blessings from Allah upon you, thousands of peace and blessings to you, yaa Sayyidi, O Master of the Messengers, O Beloved of The Lord of all the Worlds! Thousands of peace and blessings upon you, and Allah’s Rahmah, Baraka, forgiveness and pleasure upon you in all the Worlds, for truly He is the Most Deserving of Praise and Most Glorious!

May Allah (swt) always and ever raise your ranks and bless us with your holy breaths, yaa Sayyidi, yaa Rasoolullah, O Mercy of the Worlds! May Allah fill you with that which no eye has seen, no ear has heard, and no heart has felt! May Allah (swt) fill you with His endless outpouring and holy angels, yaa Sayyidee, yaa Rasoolullah, O Mercy of the Worlds!

Yaa Allah, yaa Rabbee, yaa Allah! By Your Shahaadah, yaa Allah, by the honor of Your Beloved al-Mustafa, yaa Rabbee, yaa Allah, by the Shahaadah of Your noble angels, by the Shahaadah of Your great saints, by the Shahaadah of the smallest particle which cannot be divided further, we testify yaa Rabbee, yaa Allah to the uttering of the two Shahaadahs: ash-hadu an laa ilaaha illa-Llah wa ash-hadu anna Muhammadan `abduhu wa rasooluh.

By my Shahaadah yaa Rabbee, yaa Allah! O Mercy, yaa Rasoolullah, by the Shahaadah of the Beloved al-Mustafa, by the Shahaadah of the resident of this maqaam, Sayyid Ahmad al-Farooqi al-Sirhindi, and the Shahaadah of his children: ash-hadu an laa ilaaha illa-Llah wa ash-hadu anna Muhammadan `abduhu wa rasooluh

O Allah, yaa Rabbee, yaa Allah! In this Shahaadah we are representing our spouses, our children, our families and everyone connected to us, and whoever has made du`a for us, ash-hadu an laa ilaaha illa-Llah wa ash-hadu anna Muhammadan `abduhu wa rasooluh.

Yaa Rabbee, yaa Allah, You know the best state! Yaa Rabbee, yaa Allah, You know best our needs! Yaa Rabbee, yaa Allah, You know best our ends! Yaa Rabbee, yaa Allah, You know best everything about us! Yaa Rabbee, yaa Allah, just as you made Sayyid Ahmad al-Farooqi al-Sirhindi a Wali from among Your Awliya, make us among his threshold, make us at his threshold, make us at his threshold, make us at the threshold of al-Mustafa, Sayyidina Muhammad (s)!

Yaa Allah, yaa Rabbee, yaa Allah! We have come from far lands with many sins, we have come to the maqaam of Sayyid Ahmad al-Faruqi al-Sirhindi and, yaa Allah, we are asking you as people who have no option, yaa Allah, and we are asking you for complete pardon for our sins and trespasses, yaa Rabbee, yaa Allah! O Allah, make us firm in Your religion! O Allah, make us firm in Your religion! O Allah, make us firm in Your religion!

Yaa Sayyidee Ahmad al-Faruqi al-Sirhindi! You are in the Ocean of the Beloved al-Mustafa, but we are outside of this ocean, so bring us to enter it by the honor of al-Mustafa, bring us to enter it with him to Your ocean, to the ocean of the Beloved, to the ocean of al-Mustafa, to the ocean of the Perfect Man, to the ocean of Sayyidina Muhammad (s), so that we may dive into it without returning to our knowledge, knowledge of ourselves, human knowledge full of usury and backbiting, but from Your grace and Your knowledge, a spiritual knowledge, a Rabbani Knowledge. Your name is al-Rabbani, yaa Sayyidee Ahmad al-Faruqi al-Sirhindi, from the Rabbani Knowledge that Allah taught you and the Prophet (s) taught you. You see us as incapable, you see us weak, so look at us and enter us into the Oceans of Knowledge, be with us in the Oceans of Knowledge, allow us to swim in the Oceans of Knowledge, the spiritual knowledge, and teach us from this knowledge!

Yaa Sayyidi, yaa Musa (a)! You sought spiritual knowledge, so request it for us too, yaa Sayyidee, yaa Rasoolullah, O Mercy of the Worlds, [as you said], “My Lord taught me and perfected my knowledge”, Allah (swt) taught you from the knowledge that no one knows except Allah and except you, yaa Sayyidee, yaa Rasoolullah! So teach us from that which Allah taught you, without looking at our actions and without looking at our memorization. As Ibn `Ajeeba (r) said, “Knowledge is of two types, the knowledge of paper and the knowledge of taste.” So teach us the knowledge of taste and not the knowledge of paper as paper perishes, but tastes remain. So teach us this knowledge and enlighten our hearts, yaa Sayyidee, yaa Rasoolullah, and dress us from that which you dressed Your Awliya, from that which you dressed them of the blessings of Heaven, from that which Allah gave us, dress us from the tajalli of Light with which Allah enlightened you, yaa Sayyidina, O Beloved One, yaa Rasoolullah, as you decorated the hearts of Awliya:

أَلا إِنَّ أَوْلِيَاء اللّهِ لاَ خَوْفٌ عَلَيْهِمْ وَلاَ هُمْ يَحْزَنُونَ

Alaa inna Awliyaullaahi laa khawfun `alayhim wa laa hum yahzanoon.

Behold! Verily on the Friends of Allah there is no fear, nor shall they grieve. (Surah Yunus, 10:62)

Meaning, there is no fear on them that they will not see the Prophet (s), they are with the Prophet (s) in every moment, every time, and in every period!

O Allah, yaa Rabbee, yaa Allah!

With those upon whom You bestowed blessing, among the Prophets, the Truthful Ones, the Martyrs and the Righteous Ones, how great a companion they are. (Surat al-Nisa, 4:69)

O Allah, O our Lord! Yaa Allah, teach us from the Hidden Knowledge, dress us from this knowledge, yaa Rabbee, so that we are dressed by it, so that our tongue may speak through this knowledge. We do not want dunya knowledge but, if you bless us with it, we want Rabbani Knowledge, Knowledge of Reality, the knowledge you taught Your Awliya, yaa Allah, teach us this knowledge! Bismillahi 'r-Rahmani 'r-Raheem.

If after having done wrong to themselves, they come to you asking forgiveness from Allah, and if the Messenger asks for their forgiveness, truly they will find God accepting of their repentance and merciful. (Surat al-Nisa, 4:64)

[Istighfaar.] I ask forgiveness as a weak servant who does not possess benefit or harm, life or death, or resurrection for himself. O Allah, O our Lord! Yaa Allah, this is our lowliness, it is manifest between Your hands, our state cannot be hidden. You gave us orders and we ignored them. You forbade us and we did not heed. So what can we do except have faith? But even that we abandon. What `amal is there? Yaa Rabbee You are the Most Generous, You are the All-Knowing, You are the Most Merciful, the Most Beneficent! So dress us with the Rahmah of the heavens, dress us with the Rahmah of the gardens. Make our hearts a throne for You yaa Allah, a throne for the Awliya, a throne for the Believers, a throne for the Beloved al-Mustafa (s).

بَلْ أَحْيَاء عِندَ رَبِّهِمْ يُرْزَقُونَ

Bal ahyaa’un `inda rabbihim yurzaqoon.

No, they live, finding their sustenance provided in the Presence of their Lord. (Surat Aali-`Imraan, 3:169)

Make us alive in every moment and period, in every time, yaa Rabbee, yaa Allah, not for those who went before us or died before us, but for those who need this knowledge. “No, they live in the Presence of their Lord.” Make us in Your Presence yaa Allah, make us in the presence of Your Beloved al-Mustafa. “Finding their sustenance” from the openings that You opened for the hearts of the Awliya. Open our hearts, open the hearing of our hearts, open the vision of our hearts, so that we don’t see anything except Your Beloved al-Mustafa, yaa Rabbee, yaa Allah, and Your noble Awliya.

Yaa Sayyidina, yaa Ahmad al-Faruqi al-Sirhindi, appear to us! Appear to you! O our master! Send your rays of light to us yaa Sayyidee. You are the Wali, you are the Beloved, you are the reviver, so revive our hearts! Revive our affairs! Revive our minds! Revive our vision! Revive us, yaa Rabbee, yaa Allah by the honor of Sayyid Ahmad al-Faruqi al-Sirhindi, yaa Rabbee, yaa Allah.

This is the Wali who revived the religion. We must revive ourselves but we have no capacity, so we came to Sayyid Ahmad al-Farooqi al-Sirhindi so that he may revive our faith, and revive us as he revived the religion. Revive us yaa Sayyidi, and enlighten us with your revival so that we may be pure and lovers to the Prophet (S), worshippers to Allah (swt).

Yaa Rabbee yaa Allah, with whom do we take refuge? Who is the refuge? There is no refuge from You except You. Yaa Allah, You are the Refuge for All! But we are incapable of entering the door of this refuge. Today this refuge was opened, the refuge of the prophets, the refuge of the Awliya, the refuge of the Sālihīn, the refuge of everyone who says “laa ilaha illa-Llah Muhammadun Rasoolullah”. Upon this we live, upon this we die, and upon this we meet Allah!

O Allah, O our Lord, yaa Allah! You said:

If they had only, when they were unjust to themselves, come to you

and asked Allah's forgiveness, and the Messenger had asked forgiveness for

them, they would have found Allah indeed Oft-returning, Most Merciful. (Surat an-Nisa, 4:64)

We have wronged ourselves. we recognize this. We wronged ourselves so we came to Your Beloved, Your Beloved al-Mustafa, and we came to one his doors, the door of Sayyid Ahmad al-Farooqi al-Sirhindi (q), the Reviver of the Second Millennium, so that he can ask forgiveness for us from the Prophet (s), as, “Truly they will find Allah accepting of their repentance and merciful,” yaa Rabbee, and You said:

من عادا لي وليا فقد آذنته بالحرب

Man `adaa lee Waliyyan faqad aadhantahu bi ’l-harb.

Whoever comes against My Wali, I declare war on him. (Hadith Qudsi; Bukhari, from Abu Hurayrah)

Yaa Rabbee, we do not claim that we are Awliya, but maybe the meaning is “Whoever comes against my servant, I declare war on him”. So is coming against You, yaa Allah? Who is Your enemy, yaa Allah? It is Iblees, so make Iblees far from us, yaa Allah, make the devils far from us yaa Rabbee, yaa Allah, as You said, “Whoever comes against My Wali, I declare war on him.” So You declared war on Iblees, and labeled him with kufr and misguidance, and You cursed him yaa Rabbee, yaa Allah.

So ennoble us yaa Allah, with the Revival of the Muhammadan Lights, with Your lights yaa Allah, the Lights of Your Attributes yaa Allah, the Lights of Your Beautiful Names, yaa Allah. O Allah! You are the Lord and we are the slaves. What can the servant do except make du`a? O Allah, You said:

ادْعُونِي أَسْتَجِبْ لَكُمْ

Idoo`nee astajib lakum.

Call on Me, I will answer you. (Surah Ghafir, 40:60)

We call on You, yaa Rabbee, yaa Allah! We know that this du`a may not be accepted, but by the honor of Your Beloved, al-Mustafa and by the honor of the Saahib of this maqaam, accept it, yaa Allah, accept it yaa Allah, accept it yaa Allah. There is no door except Your door, yaa Allah. To whom do we go, yaa Allah? To You we go. For You we go. in every moment we go with You. So fill us with the manifestations of Your lights from which You created Your Beloved al-Mustafa, Sayyidina Muhammad (s).

يا جابر، إن الله تعالى خلق قبل الأشياء نور نبيك من نوره

Yaa Jaabir, inn Allaha ta`ala khalaqa qabla al-ashyaa noora nabiyyika min noorih.

“The first thing that Allah (swt) created is the Light of Your Prophet from His Light, O Jaabir.”

(Musannaf `Abdu ’r-Razzaq)

Dress us from this Light yaa Allah, dress our hearts without looking at our bad actions, from Your grace and generosity dress us yaa Allah, dress us yaa Allah, dress us yaa Allah.

Our Lord, from the time of our creation until today how many sins, transgressions and crimes and how much backbiting have we committed? We repent and we return to Allah. We repent and we return to Allah. We repent and we return to Allah. Astaghfirullah, astaghfirullah, astaghfirullah from every sin and transgression, from everything which goes against the religion of Islam, from everything which goes against the Shari`ah, from everything which goes against the Tariqah, from everything which goes against the Reality, from everything which goes against the Difficult Path, from everything which goes against Inner Knowledge yaa Arham al-Rahimeen!

Yaa Rasoolullah, O Mercy of the Worlds, O Intercessor of the sinful, O Master of Masters and Light of All that Exists! O You, who are the refuge of anyone beset with difficulties, depression or pain! You, who are the Closest of Means to Allah and the Strongest Support! I seek your great presence through these masters, the people of Allah, and noble people of your house, to remove the hardship that cannot be removed except through you, and to forgive the debt that can only be forgiven by you, through my master and guide Prophet, Siddiq, Salman, Qasim, Ja`far, Tayfoor, Abul-Hassan, Abu `Ali, Yusuf, Abul-`Abbas, Abdul-Khaaliq, `Arif, Mahmoud, `Ali, al-Samasi, Amir Kulal, Khwaja Naqshband, Ala’uddin, Yaqub, Ubaydullah, al-Zahid, Darwish, al-Amkanaki, al-Baqi bi-Llah, Ahmad al-Faruqi, al-Ma`sum, Sayfuddin, Nur Muhammad, Habib Allah, Abdullah, Khalid, Isma`eel, Khas Muhammad, al-Yaraghi, Jamaluddin al-Ghumuqi al-Husayni, Abu Ahmad al-Sughuri, Abu Muhammad al-Madani, Sharafuddin al-Daghestani, Abdullah al-Fa’iz al-Daghestani Sultan al-Awliya, Muhammad Nazim Adil al-Haqqani Sultan al-Awliya. Yaa Rabbee, we have come to You with these masters, yaa Saahib al-Zamaan, yaa Sayyidina al-Mahdi (s), we have come to You with these masters yaa Rabbee! Yaa Sayyidee, yaa Rasoolullah we have come to You with these masters, so please do not reject us with dashed hopes.

Yaa Sayyidee, Shaykh Ahmad al-Farooqi al-Sirhindī, the Reviver of the Second Millennium! You are the one who revived the whole of this religion. It was easy for you, even if you were imprisoned a number of times, so revive us, revive our hearts yaa Sayyidee, revive our vision, revive our hearing, revive our tongues, revive our limbs!

Revive us, yaa Allah, so that we may love You as they loved You, yaa Allah! Revive us so that we may love the Beloved al-Mustafa (s). He is the Beloved whose Intercession is hoped for in every calamity.

Revive us, yaa Sayyidee! We came to you, and you are the one who invited us. If you hadn’t invited us, we would not have arrived here. Who can arrive here from the numerous countries and mountains, yaa Sayyidee? So don’t turn us away from this door; rather, look at us in every moment and at our hearts in this dunya, and in the Next Life look at us with the Awliya, and be with us with the Beloved, al-Mustafa! We ask you because you are the Beloved of the Beloved of Allah and because you love the servants, yaa Sayyidee, so love us, love us as you loved your mureeds, love us and enter us into your protection, enter us in your circle, to be with you always in this world and the next, and with Allah’s noble Awliya.

Bi hurmatil ‘l-Habeeb, bi hurmati ‘l-Fatihah.

Fatihah. [Recitations of Surat al-Yasin and Khatm.]
