He is created from Allah's Light. “</span><span class="c0 c1">An-Noor</span><span class="c0">” is Divine Light, and all creation is created by “</span><span class="c0 c1">al-Khaaliq</span><span class="c0">,” the Creator. Allah’s Beautiful Names and Attributes are divine, and whatever is divine is not created.</span><p><p class="c9"><span class="c0"> </span><p><p class="c9"><span class="c0">Every moment in heavenly time, which is a measure we cannot express, more Beautiful Names and Attributes are always appearing from Allah's Essence, and Allah manifests these Beautiful Names and Attributes in appearances. And Allah dressed the </span><span class="c0 c1">Noor </span><span class="c0">of Muhammad (s), which He created first from His Own </span><span class="c0 c1">Noor</span><span class="c0">, with His Own Beautiful Names and Attributes. The one who is created from Nurillah, Allah's Light, must be perfect, where </span><span class="c0 c1">Noor an-Nabi </span><span class="c0">(s) was created from </span><span class="c0 c1">Noorillah</span><span class="c0">. And when someone is perfect he will get the love of Allah (swt) and the one who was perfect before all other creation was ever created is “</span><span class="c0 c1">Muhammadun Rasoolullah</span><span class="c0">.”</span><p><p class="c9"><span class="c0"> </span><p><p class="c9"><span class="c0">We can say </span><span class="c0 c1">salawaat</span><span class="c0"> on any prophet, but Allah (swt) did not order any angels openly in Holy Qur'an to make </span><span class="c0 c1">salawaat </span><span class="c0">on other Prophets as He did for Sayyidina Muhammad (s), and He only ordered </span><span class="c0 c1">mu’mins </span><span class="c0">and Muslims to send </span><span class="c0 c1">salawaat</span><span class="c0"> on the Prophet (s)! Allah and His angels are making</span><span class="c0 c1"> salawaat </span><span class="c0">on the Prophet (s). He is dressing Prophet more and more, and angels are sending more and more </span><span class="c0 c1">salawaat</span><span class="c0"> on Prophet Muhammad (s) for he is on Divine Perfection. </span><p><p class="c8"><span class="c0"></span><p><p class="c9"><span class="c0">For your wedding, you must be given a dress that is the best of clothing, and it must not have the slightest imperfection, and people normally pay thousands and thousands of dollars for a brand-name designer suit. They might spend $20,000 on a suit; even $100,000! So what about The One Who is dressing Prophet (s) from His Beautiful Names and Attributes? The Prophet’s every action, even his every breath is a revelation and indicates Allah's Oneness because He is perfect, so from the perfection and Light from which Allah (swt) created Prophet (s), He ordered angels to make </span><span class="c0 c1">sajda</span><span class="c0"> to that Light and ordered Muslims and </span><span class="c0 c1">mu’mins </span><span class="c0">and angels and even all humanity to make</span><span class="c0 c1"> salawaat</span><span class="c0"> on the Prophet (s)!</span><p><p class="c9"><span class="c0"> </span><p><p class="c9"><span class="c0">One</span><span class="c0 c1"> salawaat </span><span class="c0">known as </span><span class="c0 c1">as-Salaat al-Kamaaliyya,</span><span class="c0"> “The Perfect</span><span class="c0 c1"> Salaat</span><span class="c0"> on the Prophet (s),” is said to be the most honored </span><span class="c0 c1">salawaat</span><span class="c0">. S</span><span class="c0">ome </span><span class="c0 c1">awliyaullah </span><span class="c0">said one recitation of it is equal to 70,000 </span><span class="c0 c1">salawaat</span><span class="c0">, and i</span><span class="c0">n the Shafi`i school they say it is “rewarded without end,” as Allah's Perfection has no end! It is read between </span><span class="c0 c1">Maghrib</span><span class="c0"> and `</span><span class="c0 c1">Isha</span><span class="c0">, </span><span class="c0">especially to remove forgetfulness and strengthen memory. It is mentioned in the book </span><span class="c0 c4">Afdal as-Salawaat</span><span class="c0"> on page 100:</span><p><p class="c8"><span class="c0"></span><p><p class="c9"><span class="c3 c1">As-Salaat al-Kaamil,</span><span class="c3"> The Perfect Prayer on the Prophet (s)</span><p><p class="c8"><span class="c3"></span><p><p class="c9 c11"><span class="c3 c6">اَللَّهُمَّ صَلِّ وَسَلِّمْ وَبَارِكْ عَلَى سَيِّدِنَا مُحَمَّدٍ وَعَلَى آلِهِ كَمَا لاَ نِهَايَةَ لِكَمَالِك َوَعَدَدَ كَمَالِهِ </span><p><p class="c9"><span class="c0 c1">A</span><span class="c0 c1">llahumma salli wa sallim wa baarik `alaa Sayyidina Muhammadin wa `alaa aalihi kamaa laa nihayata li-kamaalika wa `adada kamaalih. </span><p><p class="c9"><span class="c0 c1">O Allah! Exalt, and greet him and bless Sayyidina Muhammad (s) as there is no end to Your Perfection and on the number of perfections with which You dressed him!</span><p><p class="c9"><span class="c0"> </span><p><p class="c9"><span class="c0">In some narrations which are more commonly followed in the Shafi`i School and Middle Eastern countries its recitation is similar but it is said that there is no end to the reward for this </span><span class="c0 c1">salawaat</span><span class="c0">. For that reason they cannot say it is equal to 600,000 </span><span class="c0 c1">salaat</span><span class="c0">, nor 1,000,000 </span><span class="c0 c1">salaat</span><span class="c0">, rather this </span><span class="c0 c1">salaat </span><span class="c0">has no end, as Allah’s Perfection has no end, this </span><span class="c0 c1">salaat </span><span class="c0">has no end to its reward and benefit, and it will be read by angels without end on your behalf.</span><p><p class="c8"><span class="c3"></span><p><p class="c9"><span class="c3 c1">Salawaat Kamaaliya</span><p><p class="c9 c11"><span class="c3"> اللهم صل وسلم وبارك علي سيدنا محمد وعلي آله عدد كمال الله وكما </span><span class="c3">يليق </span><span class="c3">بكماله</span><p><p class="c9"><span class="c0 c1">A</span><span class="c0 c1">llahumma salli wa sallim wa baarik `alaa Sayyidina Muhammad wa `alaa aalihi `adada kamaalillaah wa kamaa yaleequ bi kamaalih.</span><p><p class="c9"><span class="c0 c1">O Allah! Bestow Your Blessings, Peace and Grace upon our Master Muhammad, and upon His Family according to the Perfection of Allah and as befits His Perfection!</span><p><p class="c9"><span class="c0"> </span><p><p class="c9"><span class="c0">That is similar, but with the difference of adding `</span><span class="c0 c1">aala aalihi `adada kamaalillaah wa kamaa yaleequ bi kamaalihi</span><span class="c0">, “on the number of Allah's Perfection and on the greatness of the word ‘perfection,’ itself” which is not based on our understanding of what perfection is, but rather it is Divine Perfection that has no less and no more, the highest level of perfection that is Divine, not created. That</span><span class="c0 c1"> salawaat</span><span class="c0"> is very well-known in Muslim countries. </span><p><p class="c9"><span class="c0"> </span><p><p class="c9"><span class="c0">Now I come to that very well-known </span><span class="c0 c1">salawaat</span><span class="c0"> that is mentioned in </span><span class="c0 c4">Dalaa’il al-Khayraat</span><span class="c0"> </span><span class="c0">and is mentioned by many, like Imam ash-Sha`arani (r), a very big scholar in Egypt that lived 500 years ago:</span><p><p class="c8"><span class="c3 c18 c1"></span><p><p class="c9"><span class="c3 c1">Darood Shifaa</span><p><p class="c9 c11"><span class="c0 c18">اَللّهُمَّ صَلِّ عَلى رُوْحِ سَيِّدِنَا مُحَمَّدٍ فِى الْاَرْوَاحِ وَعَلى جَسَدِه فِى الْاَجْسَادِ وَعَلى قَبْرِه فِى الْقُبُوْرِ وَعَلى الِه وَصَحْبِه وَسَلِّم</span><p><p class="c9"><span class="c0 c1">A</span><span class="c0 c1">llahumma salli `alaa roohi Sayyidina Muhammad fi ’l-arwaahi wa `alaa jasadihi fi ’l-ajsaadi wa `alaa qabrihi fi ’l-quboori wa `alaa aalihi wa sahbihi wa sallim. </span><p><p class="c9"><span class="c0 c1">O Allah! Shower Your Blessings on the soul of Muhammad amongst all souls, on the heart of Muhammad amongst all hearts, and on the body of Muhammad amongst all bodies, and on the grave of Muhammad amongst all graves.</span><span class="c0"> </span><span class="c0">(</span><span class="c0 c4">Dala’il al-Khayrat</span><span class="c0">, Chapter 3)</span><p><p class="c8"><span class="c0 c18"></span><p><p class="c9"><span class="c0">O Allah! M</span><span class="c0">ake </span><span class="c0 c1">salawaat</span><span class="c0"> on the the private soul of the Prophet (s), and on his body, and on his grave, and on his Family and Companions, and send him peace! Here we are bringing the</span><span class="c0 c1"> rooh</span><span class="c0">, the body and the holy grave, and the Prophet (s) is alive in his grave, </span><span class="c0 c1">haadirun wa naazhirun</span><span class="c0">, present and seeing.</span><p><p class="c8"><span class="c0"></span><p><p class="c9"><span class="c0">Imam Sha`arani (r) related that the Prophet (s) said:</span><p><p class="c8 c13"><span class="c0 c1"></span><p><p class="c14"><span class="c3">أن أبا هريرة قال سمعت رسول الله صلى الله عليه وسلم يقول من رآني في المنام فسيراني في اليقظة أو فكأنما رآني في اليقظة لا يتمثل الشيطان بي</span><p><p class="c8"><span class="c3"></span><p><p class="c13 c9"><span class="c0 c1">man raa’nee fi ’l-manaam fa sa-yaranee fi’l-yaqazhah aw ka-annamaa raa’nee fi’l-yaqazhah laa yatamathal ash-shaytaanu bee.</span><p><p class="c13 c9"><span class="c0 c1">The Prophet (s) said, "Who saw me in the dream really saw me, because Shaytan can not assume my image." [</span><span class="c0">It also means: </span><span class="c0 c1">Whoever sees me in the dream will see me in reality.]</span><p><p class="c8 c13"><span class="c0"></span><p><p class="c13 c9"><span class="c0 c1">This means whoever makes salawaat in this way will see me in the dream, and who sees me in the dream will see me in the Day of Judgment, and whoever sees me in the Day of Judgment I will intercede for him, whoever I intercede for will drink from my basin, the Hawd al-Kawthar in Paradise, and whoever drinks from al-Kawthar will be prohibited from entering Hellfire. </span><p><p class="c8"><span class="c0"></span><p><p class="c9"><span class="c0">Since we love to see the Prophet (s) in the dream, we will recite it another time: </span><span class="c0 c1">Allahumma salli `ala roohi Sayyidina Muhammad fi ’l-arwaahi wa `alaa jasadihi fi ’l-ajsaadi wa `alaa qabrihi fi ’l-quboori wa `alaa aalihi wa sahbihi wa sallim. </span><span class="c0">You recited it now, and </span><span class="c0 c1">inshaa-Allah </span><span class="c0">you will see the Prophet (s)!</span><p><p class="c8"><span class="c0"></span><p><p class="c9"><span class="c0">Imam ash-Sha`arani (r) said:</span><p><p class="c13 c9"><span class="c0">I said to myself, “I must recite this,” and I recited it before I slept and kept reciting until I fell asleep. I looked at the moon and saw the Prophet's honorable face, and I spoke with him. Then </span><span class="c0 c1">ghaaba fi ‘l-qamar</span><span class="c0">, I felt he was in the moon until he disappeared. I asked Allah (swt) that for sake of this </span><span class="c0 c1">salawaat</span><span class="c0">, </span><span class="c0">give me all the favors He gives, not the normal provisions, but the one He gave to His Beloved One, Sayyidina Muhammad (s), that he promised to every </span><span class="c0 c1">mu’min</span><span class="c0">, and I felt that I am getting it. (</span><span class="c0 c4">Afdal as-Salawaat</span><span class="c0">, Page 58)</span><p><p class="c8 c13"><span class="c0"></span><p><p class="c9"><span class="c0">Close your eyes and look at the moon, you feel like the Prophet’s honorable face is there appearing and disappearing, as Imam Sha`arani has said.</span><p><p class="c8 c13"><span class="c0"></span><p><p class="c9"><span class="c0">In the book </span><span class="c0 c4">Afdal as-Salawaat</span><span class="c0">, it is written:</span><p><p class="c13 c9"><span class="c0">`AbdAllah al-Hakam, a great </span><span class="c0 c1">amir </span><span class="c0">in the time of Imam Shafi`i (r), said, “I saw Imam ash-Shafi`i in my dream and asked him, ‘What has Allah done with you?’” [Here you see how they speak to each other in dreams. If you go through the book </span><span class="c0 c4">Talkhees al-Ma`arif li Sayyid Muhammad `Aarif </span><span class="c0">you see too many stories related like this] Imam Shafi`i (r) replied, “He poured His Mercy on me, forgave me and decorated Paradise for me, which came to me as a bride adorned with all her ornaments and decorations for her husband. They showered me with angels and heavenly ornaments like they throw (rose petals) over the bride and groom in </span><span class="c0 c1">dunya</span><span class="c0">.” I asked him, “How did you attain this level, what did you do?” He said (as recorded in the book </span><span class="c0 c4">ar-Risalah</span><span class="c0">), “Someone told me to recite a specific </span><span class="c0 c1">salawaat</span><span class="c0">, which I did.”</span><p><p class="c8"><span class="c0"></span><p><p class="c9"><span class="c0">For sure we all want the same for ourselves and we ask Allah (swt) to forgive us and everyone else, as if you only ask for yourself that is egoistic. The Prophet (s) used to pray for everyone, and we have to follow him as Allah (swt) said:</span><p><p class="c8"><span class="c0"></span><p><p class="c9 c11"><span class="c3">قُلْ إِن كُنتُمْ تُحِبُّونَ اللّهَ فَاتَّبِعُونِي يُحْبِبْكُمُ اللّهُ وَيَغْفِرْ لَكُمْ ذُنُوبَكُمْ وَاللّهُ غَفُورٌ رَّحِيمٌ</span><p><p class="c9"><span class="c0 c1">Qul in kuntum tuhibboona 'Llaaha fattabi`oonee yuhbibkumullaahu wa yaghfir lakum dhunoobakum w 'Allaahu Ghafooru 'r-Raheem.</span><p><p class="c9"><span class="c0 c1">Say (O Muhammad), "If you (really) love Allah, then follow me! Allah will love you and forgive your sins, and Allah is Oft-Forgiving, Most Merciful. </span><span class="c0">(Surat Aali-'Imraan, 3:31)<br></span><p><p class="c19"><span class="c3">اللَّهُ نُورُ السَّمَاوَاتِ وَالْأَرْضِ مَثَلُ نُورِهِ كَمِشْكَاةٍ فِيهَا مِصْبَاحٌ الْمِصْبَاحُ فِي زُجَاجَةٍ الزُّجَاجَةُ كَأَنَّهَا كَوْكَبٌ دُرِّيٌّ</span><p><p class="c9"><span class="c0">The Divine Manifestations that Allah (swt) described in the Holy Qur'an as “</span><span class="c0 c1">Allah</span><span class="c0">” is the Light of the Heavens and the Earth: </span><p><p class="c9"><span class="c0 c1">Allahu nooru’s-samawaati wa’l-ard. Mathalu noorihi ka-mishkaatin feehaa misbaahun al-misbaahu fee zujaajatin az-zujaajatu ka-annahaa kawkabun durriyy.</span><p><p class="c9"><span class="c0 c1">Allah is the Light of the Heavens and the Earth. The parable of His Light is as if there were a niche and within it a lamp: the lamp is in a glass, the glass like a Brilliant Star. </span><span class="c0">(an-Noor, 24:35) </span><p><p class="c8"><span class="c0"></span><p><p class="c9"><span class="c0 c1">Kawkabun durriyy</span><span class="c0"> is an illuminating, sparkling Light from which a shining pearl comes; describing the Lamp for us to understand. So as you throw flower petals or rice on the bride and groom, and dress her in expensive jewels, Imam Shafi`i (r) is saying, “Paradise was given to me like an adorned bride.”</span><p><p class="c9"><span class="c0"> </span><p><p class="c9"><span class="c0">We found that </span><span class="c0 c1">salawaat</span><span class="c0"> in </span><span class="c0 c4">ar-Risalah</span><span class="c0">, page 77, and in Dalaa`il al-Khayraat:</span><p><h3 class="c9"><span class="c3 c1">Salawaat Imam Shafi`i</span></h3><p class="c9 c11"><span class="c3">للّهُمَّ صَلّ </span><span class="c3">على سَيِّدِنَا محمد عدد ما ذكره الذاكرون وغفل عن ذكره الغافلون </span><p><p class="c9"><span class="c0 c1">Allahumma salli `ala Sayyidina Muhammadin `adada maa dhakarahu ‘dh-dhaakiroon wa ghafala `an dhikrihi ‘l-ghaafiloon. </span><p><p class="c9"><span class="c0 c1">Oh Allah! Bestow Your Mercy and Blessings upon Muhammad whenever he is remembered, and bestow Your Mercy and Blessings upon Muhammad whenever he is not remembered.</span><p><p class="c8"><span class="c0 c1"></span><p><p class="c9"><span class="c0">Imam Ghazali (r) reported in </span><span class="c0 c4">Ihya `Uloom ad-Deen</span><span class="c0">,Volume I, Book 2, Chapter 2, Page 77: </span><p><p class="c13 c9"><span class="c0">Shaykh Abi 'l-Hasan al-Shafi`i saw the Prophet (s) in a dream and asked how Imam Shafi`i had been rewarded on his behalf, to which Prophet (s) replied that Imam Shafi`i would enter Paradise without questioning, for the sake of the </span><span class="c0 c1">salawaat</span><span class="c0"> he wrote in his book, </span><span class="c0 c4">ar-Risalah</span><span class="c0">.</span><p><p class="c8"><span class="c0 c1"></span><p><p class="c9"><span class="c0 c10">The following </span><span class="c0 c10 c1">salawaat </span><span class="c0 c10">has </span><span class="c0 c10">very deep meanings and Arabic words that are uncommon, and not everyone reads them, but Muhyideen ibn Arabi (q) compiled it, and it has so many hidden meanings! It was found in the</span><span class="c0 c10 c1"> masjid </span><span class="c0 c10">of Azhar University in Egypt and you can also find it in the older copies of Dalaa’il al-Khayraat. O</span><span class="c0 c10">ne recitation of this </span><span class="c0 c10 c1">salawaat </span><span class="c0 c10">will bring you countless </span><span class="c0 c10 c1">barakah</span><span class="c0 c10">; it will be as if you are reciting Dalaa’il al-Khayraat all day and every day and you will get 70,000 rewards and blessings that come from that </span><span class="c0 c10 c1">salaat</span><span class="c0 c10">. </span><p><p class="c8"><span class="c0 c16"></span><p><p class="c9"><span class="c3 c1">Salawaat</span><span class="c3 c1"> Dhaatiyyah, </span><span class="c3">Prayer of His Essence</span><p><p class="c8"><span class="c3 c1"></span><p><p class="c9 c11"><span class="c3">اللَّهُمَّ صَلِّ عَلى الذّاتِ الْمُطَلْسَمِ وَاْلغَيْبِ الْمُطَمْطَمِ لاَهُوتِ الْجَمَالِ وَناَسُوتِ اْلوِصَالِ طَلْعَةِ اْلحَّقِّ كثَوْبِ اِنْسَانِ اْلاَزَلِ فىِ نَشْرِ مَنْ لَمْ يَزَلْ فىِ قَابَ نَاسُوتِ اْلوِصَالِ اْلاَقْرَبِ اللَّهُمَّ صَلِّ بِهِ مِنْهُ فِيهِ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ</span><p><p class="c9"><span class="c0 c1">Allahumma salli `alaa ‘dh-dhaat al-mutalsam wa ‘l-gha</span><span class="c0 c1">yb</span><span class="c0 c1"> al-mutamtam laahooti ’l-jamaal </span><span class="c0 c1">naasooti ’l-wisaal tal`ati ‘l-haqq ka-sawbi insaani ’l-azali fee nashri man lam yazal fee qaabi naasooti ‘l-wisaali ’l-aqrab. Allahumma salli bihi minhu feehi `alayhi wa sallam. </span><p><p class="c9"><span class="c0"> </span><p><p class="c9"><span class="c0">Who knows Arabic knows how profound this </span><span class="c0 c1">salaat </span><span class="c0">is. </span><span class="c0 c1">Allahumma salli `alaa ‘dh-dhaat al-mutalsam wa ‘l-ghayb al-mutamtam laahooti ’l-jamaal. </span><span class="c0">Here it expresses that there is </span><span class="c0">no one more beautiful than Prophet (s), he is the beauty of this universe and he is the beauty of heavens and here Allah sends His prayers and praises on that Essence that no one knows about, for it is hidden and you cannot penetrate its realities without knowing the secret codes needed to open it and decode them. For example, if you have a rough diamond it is a large rock which you break down and break down until you reach the gem, then you cut it nicely and then after that you have to polish it. He then mentions the </span><span class="c0 c1">Dhaat al-Mutalsam,</span><span class="c0"> that essence that is covered and which no one can open, and </span><span class="c0 c1">al-Ghayb al-Mutamtam</span><span class="c0">, the unseen </span><span class="c0 c1">ghayb</span><span class="c0"> that no one can reach or discuss. </span><p><p class="c8"><span class="c0"></span><p><p class="c9"><span class="c0">It then mentions </span><span class="c0 c1">al-Laahoot al-Jamaal. “Laahoot</span><span class="c0">” means that which </span><span class="c0">belongs to earth and “</span><span class="c0 c1">Naasoot</span><span class="c0">” is the connection from earth to heavens, the appearance of Truth, which is Sayyidina Muhammad (s), where Allah dressed him with the dresses of Justice and Beauty. </span><span class="c0 c1">Insaan al-azal fee maa nashari maa lam yazal</span><span class="c0"> “the human being that is living from </span><span class="c0 c1">azal </span><span class="c0">to </span><span class="c0 c1">abad</span><span class="c0"> who will open from the secrets of heavenly Names and Attributes. </span><span class="c0 c1">fee qaabi naasooti ‘l-wisaali ’l-aqrab.</span><span class="c0"> He opens only to those who reached the connection between earthly life and heavenly life, he opened to them as they are moving forward to heavens.</span><span class="c0 c1"> Yaa Allah salli bihi. Salli bihi</span><span class="c0"> is different than </span><span class="c0 c1">salli `alayh</span><span class="c0">. It means make the </span><span class="c0 c1">salaat </span><span class="c0">through him.</span><span class="c0 c1"> Salli bihi minhu</span><span class="c0">. Make the </span><span class="c0 c1">salaat </span><span class="c0">from him, to him; from the Prophet (s) to the Prophet (s) and in him, </span><span class="c0 c1">wa sallim, </span><span class="c0">and give greetings of peace. </span><p><p class="c8"><span class="c0"></span><p><p class="c9"><span class="c0">May Allah (swt) forgive us and bless us. We can go on and on. </span><p><p class="c8"><span class="c0 c1"></span><p><p class="c9"><span class="c0 c1">Yaa Rabbee</span><span class="c0">, we are weak! Whatever </span><span class="c0 c1">salawaat </span><span class="c0">is in this book, share us with them and give us the rewards of these </span><span class="c0 c1">salawaats</span><span class="c0"> in that book of Muhammad `Arif, </span><span class="c0">and combine them with what is in every book that shows love and </span><span class="c0 c1">noor </span><span class="c0">of the Prophet (s) and without us researching as to who said this and who said that </span><span class="c0 c1">salawaat</span><span class="c0">, as we are not academians. So we ask </span><span class="c0 c1">jumlan</span><span class="c0">, wholesale rewards of all </span><span class="c0 c1">salawaat </span><span class="c0">for us! These scholars come and write pages, all of which, perhaps 75% of every page, is footnotes. They make most of the narrations</span><span class="c0 c1"> da`eef,</span><span class="c0"> weak, or </span><span class="c0 c1">hasan </span><span class="c0">or this or that. But we are not concerned with that? Whether </span><span class="c0 c1">da`eef </span><span class="c0">or strong or </span><span class="c0 c1">hasan</span><span class="c0">, we are not looking there. Rather, if anyone made </span><span class="c0 c1">salawaat, </span><span class="c0">may Allah (swt) include a share with every worshiper in this life with the worship of the Prophet (s) and the </span><span class="c0 c1">Sahaabah</span><span class="c0"> (r) and the</span><span class="c0 c1"> awliyaullah </span><span class="c0">(q); that is the quickest way, and we rest and relax! </span><p><p class="c8"><span class="c0"></span><p><p class="c9"><span class="c0">Allah (swt) said, “Ask and I will give you,” and I am not asking but for the sake of </span><span class="c0 c1">ma`soomeen</span><span class="c0">, the infallible ones, and for the sake of older ones and for the sake of everyone! And you know the case of the three that were trapped in the cave and they each began to mention the good deeds they had done and with that the stone moved from the opening of cave! So with the worship of Your Prophets and especially Sayyid ar-Rasool (s), give us a share with them! </span><p><p class="c8"><span class="c0"></span><p><p class="c9"><span class="c0">Grandshaykh (q) gave me the </span><span class="c0 c1">Du`a of the Saint of Rajab</span><span class="c0"> and four brief letters, and more than forty years ago he wrote on the third page for </span><span class="c0 c1">Fajr </span><span class="c0">and </span><span class="c0">dictated this to me, “If you cannot read it, then </span><span class="c0 c1">qul yaa rabbee nawaynaa mithla maa nawaa mawlana shaykh,</span><span class="c0"> say, ‘O Allah! As my Shaykh mentioned and is doing, that is my intention in this holy month of Rajab.’” That is the easiest way as it is very difficult to read all of it. So say, “as Grandshaykh (q) made intention, we make the same intention,” then it is as if you read the whole </span><span class="c0 c1">du`a,</span><span class="c0"> and t</span><span class="c0">hat is the way of </span><span class="c0 c1">awliyaullah</span><span class="c0">!</span><p><p class="c8"><span class="c20"></span><p><p class="c9"><span class="c0">So may Allah (swt) bless you in this evening of Rajab. Today is the 7th of Rajab and </span><span class="c0 c1">inshaa-Allah </span><span class="c0">Allah lets us see the 27th of Rajab and the 15th Sha`ban, and </span><span class="c0 c1">inshaa-Allah</span><span class="c0"> we will see the 27th of Ramadan and the 10th of Dhu’l-Hijjah, and then the 10th of Muharram, all the way to the 12th Rabi` al-Awwal and then come back yet again to the 7th of Rajab! </span><span class="c0 c1">Wa min Allahi ’t-tawfeeq.</span><p><a href="#" name="fb9fb93011ad78ca1e36c4c1e56fdf04d009bd67"></a><a href="#" name="0"></a><table cellpadding="0" cellspacing="0" class="c22"><tbody></tbody></table><p class="c8"><span class="c0"></span><p><p class="c9"><span class="c0">G</span><span class="c0">randshaykh (q) showed his greatest love to the Prophet (s) and taught us that love, as did Mawlana Shaykh Nazim, may Allah (swt) give him long life, and all these </span><span class="c0 c1">awliyaullah</span><span class="c0"> and scholars. We are asking for our intention be the same as theirs and for their support, as we are weak, helpless, and deficient in everything and we cannot achieve anything by ourselves. We may spend our entire life trying to accomplish something, but our efforts are still that of an ant, and probably not even that! Don’t think your </span><span class="c0 c1">`amal </span><span class="c0">is going to save you! Only their support and their intercession can take us to safety. So we ask the Prophet (s) and Grandshaykh (q) to intercede for us and that we are granted to be with them in </span><span class="c0 c1">dunya</span><span class="c0"> and </span><span class="c0 c1">Akhirah! </span><span class="c0"> They can be with us, but we cannot be with them if they do not open that door! You cannot go in by yourself as they have to check you, as the Prophet (s) mentioned:</span><p><p class="c19"><span class="c3">أنا مدينة العلم و علي بابه</span><p><p class="c9"><span class="c0 c1">Anaa madinatu 'l-`ilmi wa `Aliyyun baabuha.</span><p><p class="c9"><span class="c0 c1">I am the City of Knowledge and `Ali is its door</span><span class="c0">. (al-Haakim, Tirmidhi)</span><p><p class="c8"><span class="c0"></span><p><p class="c8"><span class="c0"></span><p><p class="c9"><span class="c0">And then you will find Sayyidina Abu Bakr as-Siddiq (r) inside. Congratulations to whomever knocks at the door and his name is “`Ali,” “Abu Bakr,” “`Umar” or “`Uthman.” Sayyidina `Umar (r) stood for </span><span class="c0 c1">haqq</span><span class="c0">,</span><span class="c0 c1"> </span><span class="c0">Sayyidina `Uthman compiled the Holy Qur’an, and Sayyidina `Ali (r) gave his life when he stayed in the bed of the Prophet (s) and Sayyidina Abu Bakr (r) when he gave all his wealth and his life in the cave. So anyone with these four names will enter Paradise. Now everyone will say, “I am Abu Bakr,” or “`Umar,” or “`Ali,” or </span><span class="c0 c1">`Ummu’l-Mu’mineen </span><span class="c0">Sayyida Khadijah (r), `Ayesha (r) and </span><span class="c0 c1">Wirdat al-Jinaan</span><span class="c0">, the Flower of Heavens, Fatima az-Zahra. If you carry their names, alhamdulillah, because every time it reminds you. Khadijah is not easy to carry. That is why I call Hajjah Khadijah.
