A`udhu billahi min ash-Shaytaani 'r-rajeem

Bismillahi 'r-Rahmani 'r-Raheem

It is very difficult to expect everything we like to happen to happen. Everyone of  us has something in mind or many things in mind that he or she likes to happen. But on the contrary, some might happen some might not happen.

Because Allah swt according to what , how we are progressing or how much we are obeying, as He said in Holy Qur'an, Ati` Allah wa ati` ar-rasoola wa uli 'l-amri minkum, obey Allah, obey the Prophet and obey those who are in authority on you.”

So it means how much you are obeying some ties you get rewarded because you are obeying and sometimes you are not obeying you get punished.

So Allah’s punishment to those who a say la ilaha ill-Allah Muhammad Rasulullah is a punishment to clean us to clean those who are believers in order not to punish them in Day of Judgment. So what they like he delays and what they like he stops, he cuts. That is a kind of piercing the ears. Not piercing, pinching the ears.

Allah swt is `Adil, just. Don’t say why this is not happening or why this is happening? It is in His iradah, in His Will. What will happen and what will not happen. It is not your will. It might be some people are happy from a job and get it instantly and that is His Will. Might be some people apply for job and they fire them after one month - that is His Will. Some people might not even get one month. That is why it is our duty is to continue.

Ajal al-karamaat dawaam at-tawfeeq. The best of miracles is the continuity of your work: that mean with success. You have to continue whatever obstacles come in your face.

How much obstacles I faced especially in UK. How much, how many?

Mawlana said, “go there and I want you spend half the year there now.” And all their mosques are locked in our faces.  Are they not? But he said “go,” so we will try. Until one day Allah swt open their hearts. Because those people Allah is going to punish them because they are making Allah’s mosque business. These mosques were made for Allah swt not to make flats and apartments in them and make it a business.

So but your duty is what? Mawlana knows but still he says go half the year, why to stay on the street. But what is your duty. You go, Allah will open.

Ma kull ma tatamanaw al-marraw…as-sufunu… not everything you wish you are going to get.

Sheeps or boats in the ocean, will go according not to your irada or their irada but according to the irada of the wind. If the wind want to go another direction the wind pushing from north it must go south. So even the boat has no control over where it goes, even the wind is not on your side. As in airplanes they say the wind is by the tail you come faster and when the wind is on the nose you get delayed.

So it means always jealousy and envy come in the face. They don’t look at your tail or at your back. They look at you face. So as he said, nose. They don’t like your nose. My nose is like your nose. No, your nose is different my nose is different so they don’t see their noses are so big, like Pinochle, what is that Pinocchio. Their nose is big. They see your nose is big because you ar the mirror for them they are reflecting their image in you.

Because the Prophet (s) said al-mumin miraat akhee. The believer is the mirror of the one looking in it, of his brother. That means if you look into face of someone and you don’t like that one, it is your face, it is a reflection of your face. It is not his face. It is you . he is reflecting your negativity in his face. And this is what Sayyidina Muhammad (s) said, “al-mumin miraatu akhee - The mumin is the mirror of his brothers.”

So be content with what you been ordered to do and do it. The Prophet (s) said la rahata feed-deen. There is no rest in religion. It means you have to keep doing more and more, more and more.

One asked the Prophet (s), he said, what is my duty in Islam. It is hadith of the Prophet (s). what I have to do? He said, it is the five pillars. He said, you fast, you pray, you do zakaat. The other two [pillars] you know. Shahada already he has it. And of course hajj, man istatata` ilayhi sabeela who can afford it. But these three: prayers, fasting and zakaat. He said, I ma going to do that and nothing more than that. Since you said this is Islam that is what I am doing. The Prophet (s) said if you want to see someone going to paradise look at this person. It means anyone who fast, pray and give zakaat will go to Paradise, but which Paradise? There are levels you want more then you keep progressing.

You want to be a president you have to work hard. Easy you be an engineer or an office manager or a secretary. But to be a president you cannot it is only for some people.

In religion if you wan to be with the Prophet (s) you have to progress more. The Prophet (s) was praying until his feet were swollen. He was praying and praying and praying and the Prophet (s) was ordered five prayers; Ramadan and zakaat. And for sure hajj. But he is doing more. He is the seal of messengers and he is doing more. What about us? We have to do more and more in order to be forgiven. The Prophet (s) doesn’t have sins.We have lot of sins. We cannot say I am praying and zakaat and fasting Ramadan. But look at your sins on the other side. So it means we have to continue with all obstacles facing us we have to try keep continuing and not to get fed up and bored – not bored – but say I am tried, or say I am fed up. Like these marathon people. They run and run after 10 miles they stop. They get tired. In Islam you have to not get tired, you have to be a strong athlete that you don’t stop.

May Allah swt keep us going forward and doing as much as we can. We are weak servants.  We ask Allah to help us and His Prophet (s) to look at us and to intercede for us because we are weak servants we are sinful people, may Allah forgive us, bi-hurmati 'l-Fatiha.

Taqabal-Allah
