Sultan al-Awliya

Mawlana Shaykh Nazim al-Haqqani

1 August 2010 Lefke, Cyprus

(Mawlana Shaykh stands)

Allah Allah, Allah Allah, Allah Allah, `Azeez Allah

Allah Allah, Allah Allah, Allah Allah, Kareem Allah

Allah Allah, Allah Allah, Allah Allah, Subhaan Allah

Allah Allah, Allah Allah, Allah Allah, Sultaan Allah

O our Lord! Give Your highest glory, praising, and majesty to Your most beloved one in Your Divinely Presence, Sayyidina Muhammad (s)! Wa `alaa aalihi wa sahbihi wa jami`i 'l-anbiya wa 'l-awliyaa, to all prophets, saints and holy ones, we are asking Your praises for them and we are asking forgiveness! (Mawlana Shaykh sits)

O our Attenders! As-salaamu` alaykum. Wake up, hear, and try to reach your Lord's praising. Try to be praised ones! And we are saying, a`oodhu billahi min ash-Shaytani 'r-rajeem. (Mawlana Shaykh stands) Bismillahi 'r-Rahmani 'r-Raheem. Our power is coming through Bismillahi 'r-Rahmaani 'r-Raheem. (Mawlana Shaykh sits) Give a short time for attending such a humble association and meeting. O Salafi `ulamas! O Salaafiyoon! When is the Lord of Heavens praising His servants? That is an important question. To be a praised one in the Divinely Presence, when is that praising coming to people, do you know the answer or you don't know? But you are saying, "We are `ulamas," so you must know and you must try to know.

You must try to teach people also. When you are learning something, don't keep that with yourself only, but give it to people. That is from the heavenly attributes of servant. Those who are reaching heavenly grants, don't keep it only for yourself, give! Don't be greedy. Greedy people are those who are keeping everything for themselves. Don't be greedy. If something is coming to you from heavenly grants, you must also give from those grants to those people who are asking for heavenly grants! And heavenly grants are never going to common people directly, it can't be.

Are you understanding the Holy Qur'an? You are saying, "Yes, we understand." What we are saying that they are making me address to you: how is that grant reaching to common people? It is not heavenly protocol to grant heavenly grants to ordinary people, no! That is coming to some people who have been chosen and from them it is reaching to common people from heavenly grants, yes. We are trying to understanding. I think your understanding is much more powerful. Therefore, they are making me to ask you, how is a person reaching a heavenly grant, Hisham Effendi? That is an important question. No one can be able to reach by himself, by herself or by themselves, Allah Almighty is not accepting.

What is our evidence? You may ask, "What is your evidence?" Or I am asking you, do you have such evidence that a person can directly reach heavenly grants? What do you think? Up to today have one of you, O Salaafiyoon, reached by yourself and asked for a heavenly grant by yourself? Can you answer me that, one of you just reached that heavenly grant by yourself? If you are saying this, you are never understanding from Holy Qur'an something that is important for all Mankind, particularly for Muslims! Allah Almighty is saying: (Mawlana Shaykh stands) Bismillahi 'r-Rahmani 'r-Raheem.

وَابْتَغُواْ إِلَيهِ الْوَسِيلَةَ

Wa 'btaghaw ilayhi' l-waseelah.

Seek the means of approach (to Allah). (5:35)

(Mawlana Shaykh sits) That is our evidence. When you are asking something from Him, you must use a waseelah, an authorized one for heavenly grants. You can't ask directly from the Lord of Heavens something, or heavenly grants. He is saying, wa 'btaghaw ilayhi' l-waseelah. Therefore, we are asking, have you ever reached a heavenly grant by yourself? No, it can't be! It is not heavenly protocol for one to come to the Heavenly Presence and to ask for some grants. Grants are coming from heavens and if you are asking to reach a heavenly grant, you can't reach to that one by yourself, but you must use a waseelah, some means. You are asking to reach from one continent to another continent and you are saying, "I am not needing a plane, I may reach from one continent to another by myself." That is a foolish, ignorant and idiot one to say, "No I have no need to use a means for reaching something from the Heavens."

There is a famous story of awliyas that Sayyid Ahmad al-Badawi (r) was asking to reach and using all his power, and he reached from one level to another, from another to another, and he asked to reach an opening on that level. One day he met Qutb az-Zamaan, the pole of that time who was authorized to be a means between servants to reach heavenly levels. He reached with his efforts that level and he was asking, and waiting for answer. One day the authorized one, the pole of awliyas, Qutb az-Zamaan was meeting him and saying, "O Ahmad, what are you doing?"

"I am occupied with my Lord's servanthood and I am giving every effort to reach an opening in heavenly stations."

"O Ahmad! Come to me, I have keys for those levels, come to me, your key is in my hands."

And Ahmad Badawi, may Allah bless him, was saying, "I am not taking the key from you but I am asking from my Lord Who keeps everything. I am not asking you, I am taking from Him."

That authorized one who was carrying the keys to authorized stations said, "O Ahmad, go and do as you like."

And he was doing his best and reaching to that level and asking, "O my Lord, open to me to look to You. Open."

And the Lord of Heavens was saying, "Yaa Ahmad! I have just granted the key for your grant level to that one, qutb, pole, take it from him," and he was coming back.

That is a short teaching to make people understand something about waseelah, means. Without means you can't reach any level! Therefore, for every time if anyone is asking for a heavenly grant by himself, it is impossible. Wa 'btaghaw ilayhi' l-waseelah. "Come to Me through someone and I am opening to you." And the first means for all Creation was Sayyidina Muhammad (s)! (Mawlana Shaykh stands) For his honor the whole Creation was coming from `Alam al-Ghayb. (Mawlana Shaykh sits) Everything was coming from him. "You are My waseelah, O My glorified one, My real deputy. If you are not in existence, I am not bringing anything in existence!"

Therefore, it is important to ask for grants from Allah Almighty through someone. Heavenly grants are never reaching to someone without a waseelah, without a means. And our Salaafiyoon brothers are saying, "No need, we may reach," you can't reach! That is a heavenly rule, "You can't reach to My grant without a means," therefore ordering, wa 'btaghaw ilayhi' l-waseelah. Who is asking a heavenly grant must use someone that brings you to your Lord's Divine Presence and that authorized one is bringing that grant to you, by yourself you can't do it. You may have a plane that goes up and down on a runway but if it is not getting up, there is no meaning for that plane. You must put fuel in that plane and then you may get up. And there are power centers, when we are saying this you are not understanding, because if you are not entering heavenly levels, you can't understand heavenly terms. Because it is said, man dhaaqa `arifa, "Who is tasting, he knows." If not reaching to that position or level, it is impossible to reach anything!

O People! Now we were saying as a beginning, you must try to be praised ones. That was the beginning. And we are asking Salaafiyoon that, what is that means that is making you to be a praised one in the Divinely Presence? Not any common person is going to be praised in the Divinely Presence, no! Only he who is keeping the way of reaching! If you are asking and saying, "I am asking to reach to the moon," you must use some instrument to get in and go up, but you are saying, "It is impossible." Now it is imporant for all Mankind and their most important aim is to be a praised one in the Divinely Presence.

O Salafi `ulamas! Wrong or true? What is your opinion? Do you think that anything can be more honored and glorified, or crowned on the heads of people? Can you say this? To be praised! And we must try to be praised ones! Which thing is making people to be praised? You must say, O `ulamas that you are saying, "We know everything." What is the means that is making people to reach the Divinely Presence and to be a praised one? With which thing is that grant just granted to anyone, do you know? Say! That is an important question. And I am nothing but I am asking throughout east and west, all nations, all `ulamas, and all learned people, which thing is making a servant to be praised in the Divinely Presence? I am asking to all `ulamas of Ahlu ’s-Sunnah wa ’l-Jama`ah or Salaafiyoon, but Wahhabiyoon have no minds, they are not understanding. I am asking His Holiness the Pope, His Holiness the Chief Rabbi, which thing is making a servant to be a praised one in the Divine Presence? Say! What is that? Say!

O our Attenders! Give your attention to understand! But mostly our people are occupied with this life's dirty aims, people are running after that, and they are not asking for heavenly grants. All prophets were coming and calling people, "O people, come and take heavenly grants so that when you are reaching heavenly grants you will be a praised one in the Divinely Presence!" What is that that is making people to be praised ones? Which thing is making them praised ones? It is so easy, what they are saying to me I don't know, but our master is saying the answer. Two things! O people who are asking for heavenly praising from the Divinely Presence, you must try to make your Lord pleased with you, that is one. Second, those who are asking for heavenly grants and praisings must try to give pleasure to their Lord! That is two, to make your Lord pleased with you and to make Him to be pleased with your action, pleasure and pleasement are making you to reach heavenly grants!

Anything wrong? Try to make your Lord pleased with you and give to Him your pleasure. That pleasure makes Allah Almighty to give heavenly praising to you, that is all. Try! Go and work now, collect the dirtiness of dunya and then ask pleasure from Allah Almighty, ask for heavenly grants, it is impossible! Astaghfirullah.

Fatihah.

(40 minutes) Mashaa-Allah. Alhamdulillah. And today is Sunday, they are dancing.

Dome, dome, dome, dome.

Dome, dome, dome, dome.

Dome, dome, dome, dome.

Dome, dome, dome, dome.

That is a signal of heavenly happiness from His servants, therefore, we are saying:

Dome, dome, dome, dome.

Dome, dome, dome, dome.

Dome, dome, dome, dome.

Dome, dome, dome, dome.

Dome, dome, dome, dome.

Dome, dome, dome, dome.

Dome, dome, dome, dome.
