Why People Become Tired

Sultan al-Awliya

Mawlana Shaykh Nazim al-Haqqani

9 August 2010 Lefke, Cyprus

Dastoor, madad yaa Sultan. (Mawlana Shaykh stands)

Allah Allah, Allah Allah, Allah Allah, `Azeez Allah

Allah Allah, Allah Allah, Allah Allah, Kareem Allah

Allah Allah, Allah Allah, Allah Allah, Subhaan Allah

Allah Allah, Allah Allah, Allah Allah, Sultaan Allah

Nahnu `abeedhuk irhamna fa laa n`abudoo ill 'Llah yaa Rabb! Yaa Rabbana zid habeebaka `izzan wa sharafa nooran wa suroora, ridwaanan wa sultaana. Zidhu yaa Rabbana, saa'iri 'l-anbiya wa 'l-awliya fa man tabi`ahum bi-ihsaan ila Yawmu 'l-Qiyyamah. Irham da`fana irham dun lana. Yaa Rabba'l-`izzati wa'l-`azhamati. A`oodhu billahi min ash-Shaytani 'r-rajeem. Bismillahi 'r-Rahmani 'r-Raheem. Allahuma qawwee d`afanaa li ridaak, "O Allah! Give us strength in our weakness." (Mawlana Shaykh sits)

Thumma as-salaamu `alayka yaa Saahib al-Waqt, yaa Qutb al-Mutasarrif a`eenoona bi `awnillah yaa rijaalAllah, we are weak servants. O holy ones, give us heavenly support and help us to be on the right way, to keep the holy orders of our Lord, our Creator. Subhaan Allah! Sultaan Allah!

O our Attenders! As-salaamu `alaykum. You must keep some advices a little bit. If you are not able to keep all of them, we must try to keep some.

O Salaafiyoon, Salafi `ulamas! Marhaban bikum, "Welcome to you!" Marhaban for whom? You may say, marhaban, marhaban, yaa shahr as-siyaam, the month of fasting. Marhaban, marhaban, yaa shahr al-qiyaam, the month of standing in supplication. Marhaban, marhaban, yaa shahr al-ghufraan, the month of forgiveness! Marhaban, marhaban!

O Believers! Change your direction in this holiest of the twelve months. Don't make this holy month as other holy months or ordinary months. Holy Ramadan has a specialty that heavenly beings and angels become happy, happier and happiest in this holy month! What is that reason to be the holiest month? O Salafi `ulamas, say! Say! What is the reason that shahr ar-Ramadan, the holy month of Ramadan, is going to have a special status among other months? Make it clear for the servants of our Lord. All of us are servants. That is our highest honor that we have been granted from our Lord, Almighty Allah: to be His servants. Servanthood is the most highly respected level for all Mankind and all nations, beginning from Adam (a) to the Seal of all Prophets, Sayyidina Muhammad (s). (Mawlana Shaykh stands and sits)

O People! Who is working for Allah (swt) is never going to be tired. You are tiring daily. Why are you tiring? Do you know?

O Salafi `ulamas! Why are you not saying to people why they are tiring? Answer! I am asking, what is the answer for that question? For what is Mankind tiring? That is an important point. Say clearly to your mulook, shaykhs, rich ones, and those who are tiring, "For what are you tiring?" His Majesty is also tiring; even the Sultan of Brunei is tiring. Why? Which thing making sultans to be tired? Say, `ulamas in Brunei that are running to be Wahhabi ones on the wrong way. Before His Majesty the Sultan was taking much care and becoming more pleased by the celebration of the birthday of the Seal of Prophets, Sayyidina Muhammad (s). (Mawlana Shaykh stands and sits) But those around His Majesty are so many Wahhabi people who are saying, "O Sultan! That is bid`a. Don't do this; leave it, leave it." That is their advice and His Majesty is slowly, slowly, slowly making that celebration not to be seen, and not to be heard, making the birthday of the Seal of Prophets (s) as an ordinary day. No!

O Salafi `ulamas! You are advising His Majesty not to make a birthday celebration for the Seal of Prophets (s), but you are saying nothing if His Majesty is making a celebration for his honored princes and princesses. No one is saying, "That is bid`a, that is not true," but to make a celebration for the Seal of Prophets (s) they are saying, "No, it is not true." Allah Almighty will send on your head a headache that no physician may find a cure for you! Coming to you, coming to your heads that you will drink a full bottle of head tablets, but it is not stopping because you are such people against the most glorified one in the Divinely Presence, Sayyidina Muhammad (s)! (Mawlana Shaykh stands) For his birthday you are saying, “That is bid`a, it is not true." (Mawlana Shaykh sits)

But are you are not saying anything if His Majesty Sultan is making a ceremony for his crown prince! You are running for that celebration and saying, "O congratulations and long life and long happiness for his Highness the Prince or Princess!" Allah Almighty will send on you, O Salafi `ulamas in Brunei, pain on your head that no one will find a way to stop! That is suitable for you, yes. You will understand what is the true way and the wrong way. You will understand! Give your most high honor and glorifying for the Seal of Prophets, Sayyidi 'l-Awwaleen wa ’l-`Akhireen (s)! But what are we saying? We are saying, why are you tiring? Why are you tiring? Say to your attenders!

O our Attenders! As-salaamu `alaykum. Beware! Hear, listen, and keep heavenly advising. Which thing is making a person to be tired? Say to people! You can’t say. We may say, bi `idhnillah, because you are not doing everything for your Lord's pleasure. You are following your egos, to make your egos happy. If anyone is running to make his ego happy, that effort, that work is making you to be tired. Everything that is not for the sake of the Lord of Heavens is a heavy burden on the shoulders of kings, queens, princes, princesses, governors, presidents, and so on.

O People! You must know why you are getting tired. Sleeping? Why are people tiring? Because they are not working for Allah, Jalla Jalaaluh. (Mawlana Shaykh stands) Subhaanahu wa Ta`ala Rabba `ama yushrikooon, "Glory be to Allah, Who is above what they ascribe to Him." (Mawlana Shaykh sits) Which thing is making people to be tired? You must understand and you must ask to Azhar ash-Shareef `ulamas, doctors of Shari`ah, `ulamas, and Salafi `ulamas, why is Man tiring? And usually Mankind is never going to be tired.

O Salafi `ulamas! Say, if at any time on any day or at any hour the Seal of Prophets (s) said, "I am tired." Say! He never said it. Are any hadith books writing that Prophet (s) said, "I am tired." He was never tired. But we are tiring, including myself also, and I am asking forgiveness and I am tiring. Anyone who is working for Allah (swt) is never tiring. The whole Muslim world and humanity must know that if they are working for Allah, they are never going to be tired. They will always be like giants, powerful! Their hands are powerful, their bodies are powerful, their heads are powerful and every organ is powerful! I must say this because kings, princes, umaraa wa 'l-mulook, [princes and kings] shaykhs, and rich ones are all tiring. If a man is tiring that means every organ from him is tiring, never making shahadah, always down. Good understanding, shaykhs and mulook, because you are not doing for Allah, therefore your organs are weakened. If you are working for Allah, you are never going to be tired, like the Seal of Prophets (s)!

But your tent pole has just broken down. You may run to the east and to the west to find a cure, but you can't find it, because if you are tiring, every organ is tiring, finished. When you are tiring, you must understand. Where are you, Salafi `ulamas? Say to people in Arabic, in Turkish, in Persian, and in Urdu. People are tiring because they are not living for Allah, because they are not working for Allah, because they are agents of Shaytan, because they are working for Shaytan, and they are going to be tired here and Hereafter! May Allah forgive us. That is an important point. Allah, Allah. Allah, Allah. Therefore, I am making du`a for those who are coming against me to be tired, that doctors from the east to the west can’t find any cure for them. Don't make an assault on me! I am sometimes an easy one, sometimes I am a very hard, difficult one.

That is a celebration khutbah, it may be a declaration for the honor of the holy month. Ramadan Mubarak, Ramadan Kareem! If you are not listening, you are eating, and you are going to be tiring, halfway you are going to be tired. Take care, O mulook, shaykhs, rich ones, umaraa and others. If you are asking to always be in haqq and in power, try to do everything for Allah, and you will never become tired.

Therefore, they are making me say to you, to ask if the Seal of Prophets (s) said, "Oh, I am tired." Which hadith? No! Beware of a heavenly cursing, heavenly punishment! Do everything for Allah and you are never going to be tired. You may be 90 or 100 years, but you will not be tired. You may be 18, 20, 25 but if you are not working for Allah (swt), you are going to be tired. Your physical being is going to be melting, melting. That is the reason for countless hospitals and for countless shaykhs, umaraa, mulook, and presidents entering them. For what? For visiting, because they are feeling, "We are tiring. O my doctor, can you find any new medicine? Take away my inability. Please sir, you must check." Finished! You are tired because you lived for Shaytan, not for Rahmaan, so you are going to be melted, finished! May Allah forgive us. Aaman yaa Rabbee!

Tonight is the first night of the holy month of Ramadan. Try to do everything for Allah, then you are not going to be hungry, angry, thirsty, or tired. Give and take! If you are not giving for Allah, you can't take anything back! May Allah forgive me and forgive you also.

Fatihah.

For the honor of Ramadan's awwal layla, "first night". SubhaanAllahi 'l-`Aliyyu 'l-`Azheem. No one is addressing people in such a way from the east to the west, giving them first-class advice.

Never finding this knowledge in books!

(37 minutes) Mashaa-Allah (829) SubhaanAllah. If not attending, I am tying their organs. No, leave them. Don’t come, don’t listen, I have a high-level order.

(Mawlana Shaykh prays two raka`at Salat ash-Shukr.)
